Now in it's 7th year of operation, the Performing Arts Preschool at Northwest School of Dance offers a unique, arts enhanced program for children ages 3-5 years old. Children explore math, literature, art and science as well as 30 minutes of music and creative movement a day!


Our school runs Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 9:00AM to 11:30AM. 2 day, 3 day, and 4 day a week options are available.

At our school, we believe that every child is capable and driven when given the tools for success. Children progress at the rate that they are ready, and we foster that progress with our whole-child approach to learning!



Independence





Our program encourages independence, self-help skills, focus and excitement for learning!



ART





Creativity comes in all forms at our school, including getting a little messy! Children explore both teacher-led and independent art.



Social-Emotional Learning





Emotional literacy and self-regulation are an important part of early childhood development. Our students learn the importance of teamwork, cooperation, sharing, and kindness through dramatic play opportunities.



Academics





In a mix of traditional preschool and Montessori-based philosophy, our students explore math, science, literacy and practical life skills.



Dance and music





Our program is made unique by our focus on performing arts and creativity! Our students receive 30 minutes of dance and music each school day, growing our appreciation of the arts as well as developing gross motor skills.
